Love my beauties!
We adventured to our annual "Field Trip" to Apple Hill.  Everytime I go to Apple Hill, it brings back childhood memories.  Apple Pie, apple fritters, apple donuts, apple dumplings, carmel apple.  The odd thing is, you don't get appled out! We bought a 20lb box of fuji apples, asian pears, and got to go pick organic yellow delicious apples!! We were reaching high for organic apples at Willow Pond Organic Farm.   I usually don't care for yellow delicious apples, but these suckers are delish! Can't beat $.99/lb for organic apples.  The brown spots on them did not deter us to keep on picking! Hud just hung out in the Ergo. Jesse and the girls sailed on their private paddle boat. It was in a swamp!:S  The sun was shining....pretty warm that day.  I always remembered being cool and chilly when I was a kid! We then,  journeyed to Abel's Acres for donuts, then to Kids Inc, for their famous Walkin Pie! The girls were inching to get their face painted at Boa Vista Orchards.  So, they turned in their earnings, for a face paint! Awww, the memories! Their hand dipped corn dogs and Tri-tip sandwich were so scrumptious!  Hud did so good.  But, by the end of the day, he was done.  He conked on me! It was sooo sweet! We ended our wonderful day at Chicago Fire in Folsom for some Chicago style pizza......the wait was worth it!! Until next year.......

Torn Ligament? Fractured Plantar?

I have not had this kind of pain in a long time!  My plantar on my foot has been sore esp in the morning.  I think it came to a head yesterday! Limping around is not fun especially while carrying Hud! So I am waiting on the Xray results...just to rule out a fracture.   Walking is difficult so I decided to cancel piano lessons.  Glenda offered to come to my house! That was such a blessing! God works in ways I can't even imagine! He cares for my foot. And I pray that He heals it very quickly!

What's for Lunch today?

Some days I scramble on what to make lunch for the girls.  Sandwiches today? Nahh....not in the mode for that.  Noodles?!?! Abby would probably jump up and down for that! I just got some grass fed white cheddar(extra sharp yummo!) from Trader Jo's!  It goes very well with the multigrain crackers! So, there you have it.....lunch on a hump Wed! Needless to say, the girls loved it! They kept on coming back for more.
